Want to help abused and neglected children in our community?  Do you believe all children deserve a permanent and safe loving home but can’t currently commit the time it takes to become a CASA Volunteer?  Joining Friends of CASA is another way to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children we serve.

WHAT IS FRIENDS OF CASA?

Friends of CASA are volunteers that demonstrate dedication towards supporting CASA's goal to recruit and support volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children in Monmouth County through fundraising activities and raising awareness.  As a Friend of CASA you can join one of CASA's event committees, or create your own event such as hosting a dinner party or having a benefit yard sale. Friends of CASA can collectively provide creative ideas, organizational expertise, as well as help raise awareness, funds and networking opportunities for the organization.

Joining a Committee – We have several committees that regularly need volunteers for our events such as the annual Voices for Children Gala and the Step Up For A Child 5k Walk.

Hosting an Event – This allows you to work around your own schedule and still support the work of CASA for Children of Monmouth.  You can do this by yourself or by enlisting the help of co-workers, your own community, family members or friends.

If you are interested in hosting an event, follow these simple steps:

1. Pick a theme or type of event
2. Obtain a Friends of CASA fundraising kit: We will supply you with the necessary posters, brochures, flyers and donation forms for certain types of events.
